The Benefits

“It is health that is real wealth and not pieces of gold and silver.”

— Mahatma Gandhi

Breathing Practice

The average person takes around 20,000 breaths per day and most of us do not give it a second thought. Breathing is one of the greatest natural health tools you have, yet many of us do not benefit from using our respiratory system to its full capacity.

Even though it begins right under your nose!

As humans, we are unconscious breathers, meaning that our bodies will automatically breathe to take in air even when we are sleeping. As a result, we tend to not be aware of our breath, as a side effect many of us develop limited and unbalanced breathing habits.

By learning to efficiently use your respiratory system, you will begin the steps to take responsibility for your own health, which may significantly reduce a number of common ailments.

Breathe Life into Yourself

Calmination Practice

I trademarked the name Calmination™ as many women (often with teeth and fists clenched) told me, “I can’t meditate.”

Taking away the preconceived ideas of meditation opened the door, allowing women to be comfortable joining the class, the change was noticeable both from my observation and most importantly from the women’s.

The flow of blending movement, breathing, and stillness deepen the connection into your body, getting in touch with your quiet self and out of your busy mind.

We “work out” our bodies however working out our inner self is often overlooked.

Calmination works to cleanse, balance, and open up your mind and body. This opening up allows you to create more space within that frees you up for the good stuffcreativity, joy, and happiness.
